Sean McIntyre was once a mountaineer who had a family consisting of a wife and two daughters, and would often go on ice climbing expeditions with a crew of other mountaineers such as himself. One day, he and his team were hiking in the Himalayan mountain range, however, as they reached the top of the mountain, Sean suddenly got altitude sickness, causing him to suffer a catastrophic cerebral edema. He then experienced hallucinations of a sherpa guide appearing to be a yeti that was attacking him, which led to the sherpa being decapitated by Sean with an ice axe. After this incident, Sean was soon released from custody, and returned home to his family, however, his personality had changed drastically. While he and his family were preparing food for Thanksgiving dinner, Sean suddenly snapped, and brutally murdered his wife, his mother-in-law, and his two daughters. After he had done this, he went into the house's attic, then committed suicide by hanging himself with climbing rope. 20 years later, an online webcast that explored the murders that occurred in the McIntyre house was announced to stream live on the internet, and during this webcast, several of the participants held a seance in order to conjure up the spirit of the killer. This inevitably caused Sean McIntyre's ghost to return to the house, and another bloody massacre soon began as each of the webcast's participants were viciously slaughtered one by one.
