Ike was a happy man who had a wife. Both are deeply cared for each other, until when Ike was drunk during hunting he accidently shot his wife in the eye. This event traumatized him and made him go Insane. His mind was disturbed so much that he developed hallucinations. Those hallucinations include the supposed "ghost" of his wife and his imaginary son. The "ghost" then drove Ike into killing people, kidnapping them, removing their eyes and make food out of their remains (usually jerky). Ike then did that, mutilating many unfortune choosen people (mainly women) who came by his gas staition. He also probably remove their eyes in a form of trauma response.
