When he was a small young boy, he suffered traumatic events. Including german soldiers who bombed his parents and ate his sister in the front of him. This event traumatized him, making him develop an obsession with murder and cannibalism. Also wanted to avenge his family's death. He was then sent to an orphanage where he was bullied by the other kids and the dean aswell. However, 2 years later Lecter's uncle Robert and his wife Murasaki tried to help Lecter to recover. Lecter also starts to develop a romantic type bond with Murasaki and attempts his first kill when he kills a fishmonger who was racist towards Murasaki. This first murder begins his downward spiral as he countinues to kill more and more people over the years. After years of commiting murders, he was caught and put on trial. He was then analyzed by psycholigists and was deemed as "pure sociopath".
